- Identify whether your enquiry concerns a first application, renewal or change of permit type.
- Check your passport details, travel dates and current immigration status.
- Read the official document list for your chosen category and province.
- Check whether your case requires address evidence, insurance, financial evidence or supporting study or family documents.
- Check translation, certification and document validity requirements with the receiving authority.
- Keep appointment instructions, application references and receipts together.

A brief description of your goal, nationality, current country and relevant dates is enough to begin. Do not send passport scans, identity numbers or financial documents in your first message.
